In a woody area on the north-west part of the island of Krk, the biggest island on the Adriatic coast, is situated Malinska. Malinska is filled with Mediterranean vegetative species which with gentle climatic conditions and a clean sea guarantees to its guests a pleasant vacation.

The town was first mentioned in the XV century, and once was the main harbour for wood export on the island. The wide area of Malinska is full of sandy and gravel beaches.
