To the Thermal and Health Resort Olimia in the XVII and XVIII century the Pauline monks have connected the healthy effects of thermal waters and their pharmacy products that are one of the oldest existing in Europe.

The interesting locations near the Thermal Centre are: Olimje, Virstanj, Bistrica ob Sotli, Podsreda and Rogaska Slatina but it is also possible to visit the several wine shops that offer wine tasting. For the ones who opt for a more active sojourn in nature on a little distance from the Thermal Centre Olimia there is the European path E-7 and other roads marked for the alpine cycling and the mountaineering or can walk and picking medicinal herbs.
