On the south coast of the peninsula of Peljesac, under the mount of Saint Elijah, is situated Orebic. The cradle of many sailors and captains wich tradition is treasured in the Naval museum. Orebic offers to its guests the possibility to enjoy in the untouched nature wich is dominated with hundred years old pine trees and cypress, olive trees, almond trees, agavas and flowers. Except the rich vegetation Orebic offers to tits guests long sandy beaches, of wich the most known is Trstenica, and many bays with cristal clear sea.

Above Orebic there is a gentle hill with a Francisan monastery and the church of the Virgin Mary. From that spot You have a magnificent view on the islands of Mljet and Korcula and on the coast of Peljesac and the open sea. On the hill of Saint Elijah on 910m of altitude you can run into a flock of  muflon and you can visit the archeological spot where were found signs of the prehistoric man living.

For those who love the excursions there are many trips organized such as walking tours on signed paths, visit to vineyards and vine cellar. Orebic is namely known for the cultivation of  wine vie and for its quality vines Dingac, Postup and Peljesac.

Beside the hotel and private accomodation, to its guests Orebic offers a possibility to practice many sports and recreational  activities: tennis, soccer, sailing and surfing... and the yachtman will be delighted with a marina that has 200 berth on which they can throw the anchor of their yacht and boats.
