Premantura is a town which is located at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula. This town has been populated since the Bronze Age and it is an absolute haven for visitors and inhabitants alike. What Premantura is best known for is the long and narrow peninsula of Kamenjak. Across from the Cape lies a little island with a 34m high lighthouse called Porer. Restaurants in Premantura are known for their fine cuisine and specialties such as fresh fish and seafood. Visitors can also enjoy festivities such as The Crab Festival on May 1st and the most important festival, Lovrecevo on August 10th which is the feast of St. Lawrence, the patron saint of Premantura.
