In the midst of the Hohentauern between Carinthia and Salzburg, the Katschberg ski area is situated at an altitude between 1,066 and 2,220 m above sea level.

The twin-mountains of Tschaneck and Aineck are connected by a ski bridge with conveyor belt and offer together 70 km of varied and perfectly groomed slopes.
Due to its geographical location and state-of-art snowmaking technology, Katschberg is a 100% snow reliable ski resort.
The skiing is generally perfect for families of mixed ability, with a predominace of red runs.
Demanding skiers will have their fun as well. A highlight among the slopes is the black piste A1. It is 6 km long with a constant gradient.
One of the most demanding slopes on the Katschberg is the 'Direttissima' with a length of 2,500 meters and a slope of 60-100%.
Many of the slopes are broad and the waiting time at the lifts is very short, a big advantage of this ski area and a guarantee for unhindered skiing fun.
