Üdülőtelep Trpanj

On the north east coast of the Peljesac peninsula is situated a picturesque city of Trpanj. Beautiful rocky and garvel beaches, clear sea, the typical authentic atmosphere of a little fishtown, the shadow, the sound and the smell of pine trees, the hospitality of the local people are a guarantee for a  tranquil relaxing family vacation. It has to be highlited the presence of a few kilometrs long walking path called oko mora - around the sea which spreads along the sea and near the pine trees wood.

A rich bandage legacy is visible on every corner in the tight streets of the old part of Trpanj and on the near hills among the ruins of  the roman villas, the midleage fort on the hill above the harbour or in the churches in the surroundings.

In Trpanj are come many sport teams on their form preparations. An extremly suitable climatic conditions, and a good training process are facilitated by the presence of a soccer field and the stairways of St. Roch with more than 100 stairs that are ideal for the physic preparations of the sportsman. For those who love the diving in Trpanj they can find a scuba diving school.

From one day trip it's reccomended to visit the island of Korcula or the town Dubrovnik, you can also visit Split or Medugorje.

Trpanj is an ideal place to stay for those who have problems with rheumatic or similar deseases. Namely the mud from the Blace bay is kown for its healing proprieties and many researches made on Croatian and international medicine institutes confirmed its eficiency in treating rheumatic and ginecological deseases.

The habitant of Trpanj celebrate the Lady, 15.august,  and its considered that this particular day was one of the first and most significant catholic holiday. Even if it's a small city you can find an ertentaiment for all generations.
