To the Thermal and Health Resort Olimia in the XVII and XVIII century the Pauline monks have connected the healthy effects of thermal waters and their pharmacy products that are one of the oldest existing in Europe.
A distinction point of the Thermal Spa Olimia is the connection between the local area, the agro tourism and the small farms of the surroundings and the healthy tourism.
The natural resources of the Health Resort and Thermal Spa Olimia are the thermal waters rich of magnesium, calcium and hydrogen that arrive from the depth of 500 meters and have temperatures from 30oC to 37oC.
The specialized treatments that are offered to the Thermal Centre are: the treatments for rheumatic illnesses, the programs of cure for the skin and veins diseases, the programs for the post-operative conditions to the locomotore system and anti stresses treatments.

And at the end but not less important is the healthy and dietetic feeding that is offered to the clients during the entire sojourn at the thermal centre.
For the relaxation and the recreation the Thermal Spa Olimie has a surface of 3,500 m2 of indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the swimming pools centre "Termalia" with several connections and water effects, three swimming pools in the campground and one swimming pool in the hotel and the Aqualuna swimming pools. There are also available: the solarium and several Finnish and Turkish saunas, the gym and fitness centre with several guided programs, the tennis courts and other sports hall, the shooting range and the tables for chess.
In the surroundings is possible to practice hunting and fishing, to walk and to practice mountain-bike or to play to golf.
The Thermal Spa has to disposition of its clients a library and a playground for children and often organizes various cultural, sport and entertainment events.
From the Thermal and Health Resort Olimia is possible to go on carriage ride, or visit the nearest riding centre.
The interesting locations near the Thermal Centre are: Olimje, Virstanj, Bistrica ob Sotli, Podsreda and Rogaska Slatina but it is also possible to visit the several wine shops that offer wine tasting. For the ones who opt for a more active sojourn in nature on a little distance from the Thermal Centre Olimia there is the European path E-7 and other roads marked for the alpine cycling and the mountaineering or can walk and picking medicinal herbs.
