The Korkyra Hotel on the island of Korcula off the coast of southern Dalmatia is the perfect place to enjoy Croatia at its finest. The hotel was completely stripped down and rebuilt, and the impressive facade has been fully renovated. It now has 58 design rooms, a wellness area and a restaurant with seating for 180 people and an adjoining bar.
At the heart of the hotel is the pool, a verdant oasis in the inner courtyard with a view of the sea. The hotel is open year-round and is located in Vela Luka, the second largest town on the island, with 4,500 inhabitants, in a central but quiet area near the harbour. Vela Luka itself is located on a sheltered bay, and is a place where handcraft and art are both a part of everyday life.
The Hotel Korkyra, which was already the most important hotel in the town, combines an upscale lifestyle with individualised service.
