Aan de oostkust van het eiland Korcula, in de gelijknamige vallei verwarmd door de mediterraanse zon en met een rijke mediterraanse vegetatie, ligt het plaatsje Brna.
Van het historische plaatsje dat bekend stond als haven voor de uitvoer van wijn van de plaats Smokvice en als werkplaats voor boten, heeft zich Brna tot een klein, maar prachtig toeristisch plaatsje ontwikkeld. Ook de voordelige geografische ligging heeft ertoe bijgedragen dat zich dit typisch mediterraans vissersdorpje tot één van de hoofdbestemming voor vakantiegangers op het eiland ontwikkeld heeft.
