The Pasman Island is a part of the group of southeast islands of the Zadar's archipelago and with the neighboring Island of Ugljan is connected with a bridge over the channel of Ždrelac. Pašman is divided from the main land with the homonymous channel, Pašman Channel that is rich with little islands.
Pašman has a rich history that goes back till the prehistoric era, trough the Iliryan towns, Romans buildings (villas, mosaic and stone sculptures) till the early Christian church and the convent with renaissance monuments.
Even if medium size, the Pašman Island is one of those islands that leave a strong impression on it's visitors. The clean sea, the marvelous gravel and sandy beaches, the ecologically preserved environment rich of healing aromatic plants, picturesque vineyards, fields and olive trees make of it an ideal surrounding for a vacation far away from the town crowd.
The habitants deal most of all with agriculture, breeding, fishing and seafaring, and thanks to an excellent connection of the island with the main land the tourism is developing quickly.
