Island Krk

 

The island of Krk is the largest and most northern island in the Adriatic Sea. Being so close to the mainland, it is a great place for a holiday or weekend getaway.
Krk offers something for everyone. Guests can choose to stay in a hotel, camp, villa or a private home which offer apartments and rooms.
The island's coastline is covered in beautiful pebbled and sandy beaches as well as many coves and inlets. Moving inland, there are many picturesque and historical towns which blend into Krk's lush vegetation. The largest towns on the island of Krk are Omisalj, Malinska, the city of Krk, Baska, Njivice, and Punat. Krk is connected to the mainland by a bridge so visitors can easily come by car. Those who choose to fly; Krk also has an international airport.
After exploring the island of Krk, guests can take a short ride by ferryboat and visit the islands Cres, Losinj and Rab which are close by.
