The Großglockner Resort Kals-Matrei is East Tyrol's largest ski resort and is considered one of the most beautiful areas in the Alps. With a height of 3,798 m, the Grossglockner is the highest mountain and a symbol of Austria. The ski area also has a children's area with a magic carpet and a room for warming up. A highlight for advanced skiers are the black runs marked on the Cimaross lift. At the foot of the summit Cimaross is also a snowpark (Matrei) for freeriders!
