Drasnice e' una pittoresca cittadina sulla riviera di Makarska, a soli 10 km dalla citta' di  Makarska. Un fascino speciale al posto lo dà la chiesa gotica di San Stefano con l'iscrizione romana che data dal 2 .secolo.  Drasnice hanno tante chiesette che testimoniano la storia del luogo: la chiesa di San Giorgio del 15 secolo,posizionata sul  mare, con molti  monumenti di pietra, la chiesa di san Rocco  costruita nel 1914., la chiesa di Santa Caterina e sopra la chiesa di San Nicola del 18 secolo. Nel centro del vecchio borgo , costruita nel  1891.,  la chiesa di  San. Giorgio  è stata notevolmente danneggiata nel terremoto del 1962.
Vicino la lunga spiaggia, vi è una fonte di acqua 'Izbitac.
